Sketch comedy has been around for decades with many shows such as SNL carrying on for just as long. These sketches are hilarious and iconic but it is rarely taken into account of how they are made. This class will have its participants acting as an active writers room where we will conjure up, write, and, if wanted, perform multiple short sketches or a longer singular sketch. You will be given a theme and a limited amount of time to come up with an extravagant look, which will then be showcased at the end of each class in the form of a daily virtual fashion show in which participants show off their amazing creations! Don't be afraid to go all out! Pull out bed sheets and use them as a gown, use paper to make yourself an elegant crown or a daring mask, or transform a cardboard box into a effective helmet! You don't need a huge closet full of clothes or expensive makeup to enjoy this workshop. The possibilities are endless if you put your imagination to work! All are encouraged to attend.
